I like the Internet, because it offers an opportunity to share thoughts to everyone on earth, who has access to a wired computer. Blogging means publishing content and talk about things with a wide range of people and everyone can take part in the social network. To join an IRC channel means becoming part of a group talking about one issue and helping others to extend their knowledge. To write a mail means communication with other people without the threat of censorship by using cryptography. To create a website means getting creative to present yourself in the way you like.
The Internet means free speech and communication. At least it would be like that without some politicians who decide about the future of the Internet without understanding it. In my humble opinion the Internet is developing in a way the reality should catch up with.

Verbesserungsvorschläge? Möchte sagen “das Internet entwickelt sich in einem Weg, welchen die Realität auch einschlagen sollte”. Oder meinst du inhaltlich?

“The real world should catch up with the innovations of the Internet.” ist vll. besser? wobei nicht genau was du sagen willst?

Naja, es sind ja nicht die Innovationen / Neuheiten gemeint.

Damit meine ich zB dass man wesentlich unparteiischer denkt und weniger Vorurteile gegenüber anderen Personen hat. Menschen sind gleicher. Solche Gedanken und Grundsätze gibt es im RL nicht in dieser Form. Ich wünschte aber es wäre so…
